Medical Supply Chain

The Medical Supply Chain at BELTS manages essential medical supply functions for the Ministry of Health in Brunei. This includes the procurement of medicines and medical supplies, overseeing the State Medical Store, and handling the daily distribution of these supplies to hospitals and healthcare facilities across Brunei Darussalam. This comprehensive management ensures that healthcare professionals have the necessary resources to provide quality care.

NOTICE

Since December 2020, Brunei Engineering, Logistics and Training Solutions has been appointed as the authorised supply chain management agency for the Ministry of Health which includes procuring on its behalf medicinal products and medical consumables to cater for the nation’s public healthcare.

BELTS is pleased to notify the industry that it will be issuing tenders inviting companies to participate in the supply of the medicinal products and medical consumables.

The tenders are planned to be released in stages according to the published tender schedules starting September 2024.  Please visit our Tender page at https://www.belts.com.bn/tenders/ from time to time for details of each tender release.

For the purposes of these tenders, no tender fees is required.

Important Notes

  • Interested companies shall comply with Competition Order 2015 of Brunei Darussalam and refrain from any collusive conduct between them. BELTS reserves the right to disqualify any tenderer or revoke any award to successful tenderers who are found to be participating in bid rigging practices, and as a consequence said tenderer may be barred from participating in future tenders.
  • Only companies licensed in accordance with Medicines Order 2007 of Brunei Darussalam are eligible to participate in medicinal products’ tenders.

NOTICE

Interested companies are encouraged to participate in the tender which is planned to be released in stages. Details on the tender shall be provided within the tender document which will be released on 2nd November 2020. Interested companies will be required to register with RBTS before participating in the tender.
