RBTS staff participated in the Fire Fighter Run 2019 (FFR) in conjunction with the celebration of the Fire and Rescue Department’s 59th Anniversary.
The event comprised of 12km Fun Cycling and race, 12km Open for both male and female and also a 3km fun run.
The guest of honour was the Minister of Transport and Info-communications and Acting Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof.
The event concluded with the handover of contributions from the Brunei Firefighters Association Fund to three charity organisations, Pusat Ehsan, The Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) and the Society for the Management of Autism Related issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER) Brunei.
RBTS is proud to be one of the main sponsors for FFR 2019. Through this sponsorship, it promotes a healthy work life balance and also to foster close working relationship with Fire fighters and to salute them for risking their lives and sacrifices to keep Brunei Safe.
